Bar Bistro 't Sand offers the ideal combination of hospitality, good food and lots of fun. 'We even have regular guests from Germany, who come to us especially for our delicious spare ribs and fine ambiance, says owner, host and cook Faisel Rikkers. That's great fun.

Situated in a beautiful shopping street and only a stone's throw from the beach and the sea, 't Sand is ideally located. Faisel Rikkers and his enthusiastic team have worked hard since the summer of 2013 to create a high-quality eatery. For us, it's about the total picture, Faisel explains. Bar Bistro 't Sand is not only good food. The appearance of our establishment and our staff also makes it very pleasant to be here. We notice this in the guests we receive every day.

Zandvoort catering industry

Owner Faisel is a true Zandvoort, who has been active in the hospitality industry since he was 14. I once started with a side job at beach club Far Out. As I got older, I started working in a Zandvoort restaurant, after which I also worked as a waiter at the Holland Casino. I liked the catering industry so much that in the summer of 2013 I took the step to start my own business. At Kerkstraat 5 a sushi restaurant was for sale. I took my chance and converted it into 't Sand, a beautiful eatery with French and international cuisine full of good food.

Top quality

I like it very much. I see more and more customers coming back more often. That is a sign that we are on the right track. And satisfied guests, that's what we do it all for! 't Sand pays a lot of attention to her food and drink. In addition to using daily fresh products, the cook also wants to present his plates nicely laid out to the guests. The taste, the dishes, a delicious matching wine or beer, it really is about the total picture, says Faisel. We always know how to surprise our guests with more than just good food.
